Plot

Sonny and Sam are the best friends. One day, they meet Slappy, a dummy from the Goosebumps book written by RL Stine, which is yet to be published. Slappy, who wants to set his family, abducts Sonny’s mom. He also gives life to all his friends. Now, the town is filled with monsters and mysterious creatures that spoil the sleep of the town. To save his mom, Sonny and his sister join their hands with Sam and a neighbor. Did they spoiled Slappy’s plan and saved their mom? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

All the stars have performed their roles neatly. Mick Wingert's voice for Slappy is perfect. Jack Black makes a cameo as RL Stine.

Analysis

Rob has scripted a decent story and the director Ari had narrated it well. The casting team should be appreciated for the star selection, especially for choosing Jeremy Ray Taylor and Caleel Harris. Each and every scene is beautifully designed and executed to impress the kids. The music, the VFX and the editing are also good.
