, Regina Hall, and Joy Byrant. Steve Pink directed the movie. The movie draws inspiration from a play that was released in 1974. Also, the movie is a remake of a 1986 movie bearing the same title. This remake happens in and around LA, and the original had its backdrop in Chicago. Kevin Hart does the role of Bernie, Michael Ealy does the role of Danny, Joy Byrant plays the role of Debbie in the movie. Regina Hall has played the role of Joan in the movie.
Plot: Danny goes on an outing with his friend Bernie. Then, he happens to meet business tycoon Debbie. Both Danny and Debbie happen to be doubtful about relationships. But, the testosterone plays its part in pulling them together. Both of them put in best of their efforts in becoming a successful couple. Joan is Debbie’s best friend who wants Debbie to avoid getting into a quagmire. But, at the same time, Joan falls for Bernie.

tackles the concept of an urban relationship with a scientific meticulousness. The movie’s actors deserve thunderous applauses in theaters. Actors Kevin Hart and Regina Hall who have done Danny and Debbie are vulgar and corrosive. Michael Ealy and Joy Bryant are full of soul and dreamy eyed. The characters do not seem cooked up. After having watched the movie, audiences feel like enhancing their relationships. The present generation needs such quality movies as this.
The movie has its best portion when Debbie and Danny pair up on screen. The couple learns what it is to be committed. Their untiring efforts to relate with each other makes everybody realize the worth of relationships. The other couple tries to stick to reality as they relate to each other on screen. But, the movie is not as good as the original version that was released in 1986.
Verdict:Â The movie should not be missed by the couples who are interested in making good their relationships.
