Sudha Ragunathan is a famous Carnatic vocalist who had last worked with the musical genius Ilaiyaraaja in 2002. She has sung various Carnatic songs and turned playback singer for a few films as well. Ilaiyaraaja is known to get the right singer for any of his songs. He is currently busy with multiple projects in multiple languages. For one of them, he thought that only Ragunathan could do justice to the song. With his decision to get Sudha on board, he has certainly given a big break to her career.
