The actor also talked about the need to look beyond the box office numbers. According to Palekar, a good film should not be determined by commercial success. There is a need to give space to mid-range movies, which is slowly vanishing from the Hindi cinema. Palekar gave the example of the 400 crore, 500 crore clubs that people are extremely obsessed with nowadays.

Palekar also acknowledged the presence of AI and its potential use in cinema. However, he remained firm that even though AI will be a lot helpful, it can NEVER be a substitute for human creativity.
