, the director and the producer met Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandra Sekhar Rao and requested him to watch the movie. Rumours have it that it was mainly to request him for Tax exemption. Later it turned out to be true.
"Rudhramadevi" directed by Gunasekhar, grossed around 11.70 crore from 100 screens at the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh BO on the very first day of its release. Also the Nett shares were a huge amount of Rs. 9.17 crore.
But unfortunately the collection went down nearly 50% on the consecutive days; hence the extra shows were also cancelled. After a couple of days word of mouth also took a toll on the flick.
Only in Andhra and Telangana this majestic feature has collected approximately 6.35 crores, also its Nett share on the second day alone happens to be 4.93 crore.
We have exclusive details about the distribution shares for 4 days.
In the East alone the film has grossed a total of Total 1.679 Cr with 81.3 lakhs on the first day.
From the West side it is a mammoth of 1.174 approximately with 66, 01,308 on the first day. In Nellore and Guntur it is 91.6 lakhs and 1.906 crore respectively for four days.
