The filmmaker recently expressed his admiration for Dhurandhar franchise, which has earned a significant amount from the Telugu speaking regions as well, including the second part, which was exclusively dubbed in multiple languages including Telugu.

Ravi not only praised the film for its brilliance and its research skills, but also asked the Tollywood bigwigs to learn from the same, especially on cost cutting and not allowing superstardom to dominate the core principles of storytelling. Although the Bollywood culture of entourages has not completely invaded the Telugu market, its impact can be felt in some films, which haven’t performed up to the mark more due to the excessive budget, rather than the overall quality of the film.
