Prithviraj Sukumaran is preparing for the grand release of his much-awaited ‘Aadujeevitham’. In a recent interview, he opened up about the film, as well as the reason why he rejected a major film for it.
Not many know that Prithviraj would have been a part of ‘Syeraa Narasimha Reddy’ [which was based on the revolutionary of the same name], which starred Chiranjeevi in the lead role. However, he had rejected the offer to be a part of it.
According to Prithviraj, he was already preparing for ‘Aadujeevitham’, as well as directing ‘Lucifer’. He couldn’t mess up with either, so despite his interest in the project, he could not be a part of it. ‘Lucifer’ was later adapted by Chiranjeevi into a Telugu remake, titled ‘Godfather’.
Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently awaiting the back-to-back releases of films like ‘Aadujeevitham’, and ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, which will release on 28 March and 10 April respectively. After that, he will be directing ‘L2: Empuraan’ [which is connected with the ‘Lucifer’ verse], which will see Mohanlal back in action as Stephen Nedumpally / Abram Qureshi.
