‘Committee Kurrollu’ To Stream On This OTT Platform…

After the surprise success at the Tollywood box office, ‘Committee Kurrollu’ is all set for the OTT release.

Made on a shoestring budget of 6 crores, this movie has collected more than 20 crores in gross domestic collections, which is a surprise, given that this movie had a restricted release on 9 August. However, due to ‘Mr. Bachchan’ and ‘Double iSmart’ tanking at the box office, the movie gained the last ground and turned out to be a surprise hit, before Nani’s ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ finally restored Tollywood’s reputation.

With that, ‘Committee Kurrollu’ is only the eighth Telugu movie this year which has earned the tag of a commercial success. While some movies like ‘Gaami’, ‘Om Bheem Bush’ etc. earned more than just recovering the budget, only a few films like ‘Tillu Square’, ‘Hanu Man’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ managed to go beyond the 100 crore mark.
