This would be Adah’s return to Telugu cinema after 2 years. She had last starred in a similar movie, titled ‘Question Mark’. However, everything changed forever when Adah decided to go ahead with Vipul Amritlal Shah’s ‘The Kerala Story’, based on the ISIS recruitment module in Kerala. Despite the controversy around the movie, and the unnecessary criticism by some self proclaimed experts, the movie was a surprise blockbuster, earning more than 300 crores worldwide on a shoestring budget of 20 crores. While Adah’s recent movie ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’ wasn’t commercially successful, she was appreciated for her dedication to the role. Both the movies are currently streaming on the OTT platform ‘Zee5’.
