" committed suicide. Yes, the legendary screenplay writer and director ended his life by hanging himself on the roof of his house. His residence is at Ramanathapuram in Palakkad. He is 60 years and was survived by his wife, Geetha and two sons namely, Arvind and Arjun. The reason for his suicide is not yet known.
