", who has acted in more than seventy movies, died last night.
G Krishna Pillai, who was a theatre artist, turned to be the cinema artist, shine in the comedy as well as character roles.
His roles in the dramas, “Kunjali Marakayar”, “Neetipeedham” and “Ezharaponna” are memorable in the minds of the theater audiences.
"Masappady Mathupillai", "Chula", "Mucheettu Kalikkarente Makal" and "My Dear Kuttichathan" are the famous movies by Pillai.
He has also appeared in TV serials, later.
At his age of 82, Pillai died at his home, due to the age-related problems.
GK Pillai is survived by a wife and four daughters.
