Malayalam Actor VD Rajappan Is No More!

"V. D. Rajappan", the popular Malayalam actor and orator, passed away today in Kottayam. He is 66 years. He was bedridden for the past few years. Rajappan is survived by his wife Sulochana and sons Rajeev and Rajesh. Sulochana was working as a nurse. Rajesh is working as a medical assistant and Rajeev is working in MG University. He started his career in 1969 as a Kadhaprasangam artist. His popular Kadhaprasangam works are Chikayunna Sundari, MacMac and Priye Ninte Kora. He was also popular for his performances in movies like "Meleparambil Aanveedu", "Poochakkoru Mookkuthi" and "Mutharamkunnu PO." His last silver screen appearance is in 1998 in “Aalibabayum Aarara Kallanmarum”. Let his soul rest in peace! Our deepest condolences to Sulochana, Rajeev and Rajesh!
