The film directed by Rohit Jugraj features Sonam Bajwa and Monica Gill along with Diljit. Sardaar Ji 2 is the highest opener in the Punjabi cinema. The first-day collection of the film is Rs. 2.75 Crores. It is exciting to know that in the opening day collection, East Punjab’s contribution is Rs. 2.05 Crore. It was Sardaar Ji of Diljit, which had a record collection on the opening day with RS. 2.02 Crores. Now, Diljit has broken his own record. With the hype created by Udta Punjab, Sardaar Ji 2 had got an incredible collection, say the trade pundits. Udta Punjab is the debut movie of Diljit in Bollywood. He will be next seen in Bollywood in the lead role with Anushka Sharma in “Phillauri.” Phillauri is Anushka’s home production venture.
