Udta Punjab Creates Musical Record Before Its Release

Udta Punjab is an Abhichek Chaubey film that will be releasing on June 17. The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Dijit Dosanjh and the trailer that was released a couple of weeks ago has got a magnificent response from the audience. Post the trailer release the film producers have sold the rights for the soundtrack to T-Series and the money they have made is Rs. 18 crores. Amit Trivedi, the music producer for the film must be flashing a big smile and patting himself for creating such music and earning so big. The amount has broken the record of Salman Khan-Sonam Kapoor starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which sold the music rights for Rs. 17 crores. Till now, only one song has release titled Chitta Ve by Amit Trivedi and it has got tremendous love and support of the listeners. The song is different, fresh, wild and the lyrics have got the calibre to connect with the youth. The overall album has fresh music which turns on your Panjabi mode.
