Season 5 Of Panchayat Confirmed For 2026

Following a positive response commercially despite the mixed reviews, the makers have officially confirmed a fifth season for the popular rural drama Panchayat.

The season will carry on with the new equation of Bhushan handling the Panchayat affairs, and how Abhishek aka Sachiv ji deals with it, even as Prahlad Cha decides to contest for the assembly bypolls.

The web series covers the journey of Abhishek Tripathi, who joins Phulera village as the Panchayat Sachiv.

Released during the COVID-19 pandemic, the web series slowly became popular due to its raw touch, and its heartfelt appeal to the masses throughout Bharat. The show also created an iconic meme  culture of its own, inspiring the makers to make three further seasons, each almost as popular as the original. The fourth season, however, wasn’t as much a blockbuster as the previous three were.
