Ranveer Singh, the smart young actor, played as a cop for the first time in “Simmba.” The film, which is the remake of the Telugu film “Temper” has collected Rs 160 crores at the box office. Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, plays the female lead and this is her second film after “Kedarnath” with Sushant Singh Rajput.
Simmba star cast has Sonu Sood, Vrajesh Hirjee, Siddhartha Jadav, Ashutosh Rana, Arun Nalawade, Ashwini Kalsekar, Sulbha Arya, Vijay Patkar, Tusshar Kapoor, Karan Johar, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Khemu along with Ranveer and Sara. Ajay Devgan played a guest role. The film is bankrolled by Rohit Shetty Picturez and Dharma Productions. “Jomon T John” cranked the camera and Bunty Nagi edited Simmba. As today is Sunday, the box office is expected to collect more.
