'Raees' Date Fixed For 2017

It would have been a box office war if SRK had not shifted his upcoming film 'Raees' to next year. The film produced by both Shahrukh Khan's Red Chilies Entertainment and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment is postponed to early 2017. The film was earlier set to clash with Salman Khan's movie 'Sultan' on Eid. But now the film will be out next year on January 26th. It was tough to get a date this year with all other stars taking them so SRK settled for 2017 says director Rahul Dholakia. The film is set in the 1980s Gujarat and talks about Shahrukh Khan, a two time businessman whose trade is being affected by a police inspector Nawazuddin Siddiqui. An official statement about the film release date change was posted on social media by both the production house and the film team.
