The Election Commission banned the film to release during the election time. It ordered the producers not to release the Modi biopic till the election gets over. The final phase of Lok Sabha election will be held on 19th May 2019 and the results for all the Parlimanetary constituencies will be announced on 23rd May 2019. Now, the PM biopic makers have decided to release the film on 24th May 2019, after the election results get released.
