Anurag Kashyap Blames Himself For Bombay Velvet
Anurag Kashyap has made some amazing films in the past like the two parts of Fangs of Wasseypur, Dev D, Ugly had made a blunder with last year’s Bombay Velvet. The film that happened to be the director’s most expensive one starred Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. The film had a very short visit to the theatres and had left the audience with sheer disappointment. The apparently classy film was laterknown for its songs ONLY, like Mohabbat Buri Bimaari and Fifi. The director who is ready with Raman Raghav 2.0, and has already raised expectations with its posters, teasers and the trailers. The Nawazuddin starrer in all probability will reach the sky-touching expectations and might as well go beyond. But a modest Anurag says that he is the only one to be blamed for the failure of the film. With outstanding performances from the actors, grand arrangements and interesting music, the film should have done good but alas, it did not. He says that the faulty direction is to be blamed- he had messed up a few parts and feels that he should have taken a stand at the correct time.
