Aamir Replaces Hrithik For The Second Time!

Vijay Krishna Acharya, the director of “Dhoom 3,” is gearing up for a new project, “Thug.” Earlier, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone were approached to do the lead roles. Amitabh Bachchan was also on the list to play a significant role in the movie. As they all opted out from the film, citing date issues, Vijay Krishna managed to bring in Aamir Khan in the place of Hrithik. Earlier, Aamir played in Dhoom 3, where Hrithik led the previous version of Dhoom series. Yash Raj Films produce the film on a large scale. Aamir joins the banner for the third time after super hit films, “Fanaa” with Kajol Devgan and Dhoom 3 with Katrina Kaif. As Hrithik spared the dates to “Kaabil,” he could not allocate it to Thug. Deepika has also committed doing a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and hence could not allot her dates. Similarly, the Big B, who has committed doing a few films in a row, was unable to sign this project. However, Aamir hadn’t yet signed the dotted lines and we have to wait till he inks!
