3. Mardaani

This one is purely a women’s tale as the story revolves around four female friends. Living in Rajasthan, they try to fight against societal evils like dowry and child marriage which are rampant in their village. They guide each other in times of crisis and learn to live life on their own terms.

Dealing with the serious issue of molestation, this movie shows the struggle for three women that try to prove to the world that a women’s consent matters. Together, they fight against their powerful molesters, thereby displaying true courage.
