Humaira Channa is a renowned Urdu folk and playback singer from Pakistan. She was born on 22 June 1970 in Lahore, Pakistan, in a family related to the entertainment industry, as her father was a famous Pakistani filmmaker. She entered the film industry with the help of her father and debuted as a playback singer at the age of nine in one of the films by her father. Later, she got an opportunity the Pakistani Television, Karachi, to sing folk songs of Sufi Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai. Humaira gained fame in the early 1990s when she started singing songs in several languages, including Urdu, Punjabi, Saraiki, and Sindhi.
