His father's name is Alam Lohar, and he was a well-known folk singer from the village of Achh in the neighboring Gujrat Tehsil of Lalamusa. Arif Lohar’s elder brother's name is Dr. Arshad Mahmood Lohar. Arif Lohar has primarily worked for the Pakistani and Punjabi film industries.
