Masood Khan is an upcoming film producer who has primarily produced movies in Urdu up until now. After his schooling, he went to the University of Manchester to pursue Engineering during which he developed a keen interest in film-making, he then decided to pursue a career in film. To further his knowledge in Documentary direction, he attended the National Film and Television School in London, where he earned an MA in Documentary Direction. After graduating from the National Film and Television School in London, Khan worked as a producer for several independent film companies. In the year 2005, he produced his first feature film, "My Brother, My Enemy," which was a documentary about the conflict between India and Pakistan.

The film was well-received by critics and won several awards, including the Grierson Award for Best Debut Film. This was the breakthrough in Khan’s career; he has produced several other films, including "Divorce: Sharia Style," "Osama bin Everywhere," and "Banged Up for Blasphemy." Masood Khan, a remarkable producer, has been making waves in the Urdu cinema industry with his captivating films. His works have graced international film festivals, garnering numerous prestigious awards. Notably, "My Brother, My Enemy," a gripping debut film, earned him a shortlist spot for a Grierson Award in 2006. Additionally, his thought-provoking piece "Divorce: Sharia Style" was met with critical acclaim and secured accolades, including the Sheffield Documentary Film Festival in 2009 and a BANFF Award nomination.

In 2009, his compelling film "Osama bin Laden Everywhere" earned accolades at the Sheffield Documentary Film Festival and a BANFF Award nomination. Demonstrating his versatility, Masood Khan has contributed six exceptional films to the Our World strand, and in 2019, he delivered a poignant work on blasphemy in Pakistan, titled 'Banged Up For Blasphemy,' for Channel 4's Unreported World Strand. Masood Khan's contributions to the film industry are lauded for their timeliness and impactful storytelling.
