Ghazala Javed was born on 1 January 1988 in Swat Valley, Pakistan.She is a Pashtun playback singer. Her family fled from Swat valley to the city of Peshawar.Ghazala was only 7 when she began singing at parties and other events in Swat. She started singing professionally in 2004 and recorded the songs"Barandybarandy" and "Lag Rasha kana." In her career, she sang many melodious songs.
Ghazala became popular overnight. Her music was famous among the Pashtuns in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Afghanistan, and those living abroad.Ghazala Javed had recorded 12 albums and countless singles.She did many stage shows in Dubai and Kabul, where she earned $12,000 to $15,000 per night for singing at wedding parties. She earned more than any other Pashtun artist,male or female.She was the most requested and famous Pashto singer. On June 18, 2012, Ghazala, along with her father, was shot dead by her former husband
