Pakistani director and well-known producer Hisham Syed was born there on January 11, 1977, and resides in Karachi. He is immensely skillful and mindful and has directed several shows with brilliant talent. Around the age of twenty, he debuted his television movie, Raakh (Ashes), for Pakistan's NTM Network Television. Mussafir Khana (Waiting Room), a play that Hisham Syed produced and directed, was based on one of the English novelists, Frank Arthur Swinnerton. It was a creative concept, and Nadeem Baig and Samina Peerzada were the stars of Mussafir Khana. He received a recognition prize for adapting work of literature from other countries for Pakistan TV Corporation's state-run national PTV television network.

Mr. Aslam Azhar, who started Pakistani television, loved his work. He received a special award for Viewers Choice Runner-Up Best Play for directing a broadcast on Hum Television Network. For stations including PTV/NTM, Hum TV, Ary Digital, and Indu's TV channels. He developed and headed 36 TV programs. Raakh (PTV/NTM), his first drama and made its premiere in 1995. Mirza Zain Baig played Safeer Hajra Yamin played Hania, and Omi Butt played Afzal in Aas (PTV/NTM). The top TV shows included Wrong Number (PTV/NTM), Kangan (PTV/NTM 1999), featuring Saima Tahir as the lead actress, Dhun Anjani, Daily Rupayya (Ary Digital 2001–2002), Mystery Series (Indus TV 2003), and Mera Naam hai Mohabbat (Indus TV 2004–2005).

Ambulance Series (Indus TV 2007) this series wins Best TV Series; Waiting Room (Musafir Khana) achieved Bester Adaptation from International Literature (PTV 2004); Kajal Wali gained Best Viewers' Choice (Hum TV 2006); and so on.
