Being a talented Pakistani cricketer, Asad Shaqif has been a tremendous player since he began playing in 2010. He marked his debut in the field of cricket by being a part of the Pakistan National Cricket Team from 2010 to 2020. After this, he displayed his mesmerizing skills by playing for the team Sindh (domestic cricket). He belongs to a Gujarati family. He can understand and speak Urdu and English fluently. In addition, he can grasp and talk in Guajrati partly. As a limited-overs player, he had a significant impression in 2008-09, scoring 379 runs in seven games at a strike rate of 54.14.
His performance earned him a call-up for the Asia Cup in 2010, which he played in. As a batsman in tests between 2010 and 2018, Shafiq displayed flare and stamina in the middle order while maintaining reasonable consistency. He indulged himself in completing his studies by studying the BS Health Physical Education and Sports Sciences (HPESS) program at the University Of Karachi in 2023. In the course of his career, Asad Shafiq has achieved a total of 12 centuries in numerous test matches. He didn’t score a century in the One-Day International (ODI) and the Twenty20 International (T20I).
