Fawad Tariq Alam is an energetic Pakistani Cricketer and a skillful actor. He plays for Pakistan National Cricket Team and Sindh. He was born into a family whose roots are deep in cricket. His family members are renowned first-class Pakistani cricketers consisting of his father, Tariq Alam; his paternal uncle, Rafat Alam; his maternal uncle, Waheed Mizra. He married the daughter of Masoor Akhtar, a former Pakistan Test Cricketer, in 2011 in Karachi, Pakistan. He is a left-handed batsman who began playing in 2007. He played in the 2007 World Cup. Afterward, he played in Abu Dhabi against Sri Lanka for a One Day International match. From 2010 to 2014, he played for club cricket and One Day International matches only, until 2014 when he displayed his outstanding skills against Bangladesh in the 2014 World Cup match.

Fawad began playing for Clitheroe Cricket Club in Lancashire League as a professional. In April 2018, it was decided, that he would serve as the vice-captain of Sindh's team for the 2018 Pakistan Cup. In March 2019, he played in the Baluchistan team that competed in the 2019 Pakistan Cup. Fawad was selected to be a batsman of Sindh's cricket team for the 2019–20 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy competition in September 2019.
