Talat Siddiqui, a Pakistani actress and singer, was sometimes referred to as Adeeba Nazeer. Born on 18 February 1939 in Shimla, British India, and passed away on 9 May 2021, in Lahore, Pakistan, at the age of 82. She was the eldest among her siblings. In her hometown, she earned her FA degree in studies. Nazir Ahmad, Talat's father, worked for the government. She got married to Bashir Ahmed Siddiqui at the young age of 15. Her four children included two daughters, Arifa Siddiqui, a well-known singer and actress from Pakistan in the 1980s and 1990s, and Nahid Siddiqui, a well-known Kathak dancer internationally.  Rehana Siddiqui, her younger sister, is also an  actress.

A short while after, Talat and her husband moved to Karachi soon after her husband was imprisoned in a legal dispute. She was left in charge of running the household and raising her first child, Nahid. It was during her audition at Radio Pakistan that she eventually went by Talat Siddiqui. Siddiqui performed radio plays and sang songs since she had a beautiful voice. Later on, she entered the film industry. She had a small part in her debut picture, Choti Begum, directed by A.H. Siddiqui. Her 1965 film Ishq-i-Habib won her a lot of praise and is still cherished for the Sabri brothers' timeless qawwali, "Bhar Do Jholi."

She has received praise for her acting in Jamil Mirza's Mere Bachche Meri Aankhein. Siddiqui had moved to Lahore by the time this movie came out, and she got flooded with offers for movies. Phir Subha Hogi, Ladka, Ik See Maa, Khoon Da Badla Khoon, Maa Baap, Hukumat, Umrao Jan Ada, Lori, Bandagi, Professor, Kon Kisi Ka, Jithe Vagdi Ae Ravi, and Bhai Behen were the ones who best displayed her talent. After a long-term illness she was placed on a ventilator, but as her condition worsened, she passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 82. She is buried in Lahore's Canal View Society cemetery.
