Nayab Khan is a Pakistan-Canadian actress who started her acting career in 2016. Embarking on a new era in the film industry, her sheer dedication and passion for acting were immense. With an opportunity given as a female lead in a Pakistani rom-com film, ‘Na Band Na Baraati( 2018), directed by Mahmood Akthar, written by Harish Kumar, and produced by Zashko Entertainment, she greatly excelled in her role, satiating the expectations of millions. This movie showcases the typical life of a Pakistani family living in Toronto, Canada who are busy organising the marriage of their sons. Apart from Nayab Khan, the movie also stars newcomers including Shayan Khan, Komal Farooqi, Ali Kasmi, and others.

She holds the privilege of winning an award at the New York Film Festivals in the UN for her very first movie, Na Band Na Baraati. She was acclaimed for her natural acting prowess and as a newcomer it didn’t take her long enough to win the hearts of millions and build a genuine fanbase. The quest for challenging and creative roles has given her a new opportunity to explore different perspectives of social relevance. In 2023, she marked her lead presence in the movie ‘ Rabia & Olivia( 2023), directed by Shadab Khan. This movie revolves around the life of an illegal immigrant Rabia, the caretaker of a mentally ill nine-year-old Olivia, and how they established an inseparable pure bond of love.

The heartwarming sequence of exemplary storytelling made this movie stand apart and gain global recognition from the rest. Bagging over 13 awards, this indie movie was officially selected to be screened at the Toronto Lit-Off Festival. Yet again, she reserved her top spot on being honored with the Best Actress Award( Rabia & Olivia) at the Florence Film Festival in Italy. Her contributions to local charities such as Students Against Drugs, Red Cross, and Syrian Refugees Services showcase her goodwill and genuine interest in creating a positive impact in the lives of the people.
