Fazil NC is an award-winning filmmaker. He was born and raised in Hyderabad and went to Madras Christian College, then the University of Hyderabad, to complete his graduation and post-graduation degree. He became the co-founder of Drokpa Films. During the initial period of his career, he was an educator at Choithram International School, based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He then started working as line producer for Netflix and worked on the movie, “SHE", produced by Imthiaz Ali.
After that, he worked for History TV 18 as a freelance video producer. During that time, he worked on the show OMG Yeah Mera India. He then started working as a videographer and is now based in Dubai. He has written and directed documentaries like In the Shade of Fallen Chinar, a 16-minute short movie made in the English language in 2016. Besides, he has won the SIGNS Award and the Youth Spring Award.
