Himanshu Parija

Himanshu Parija is a Telugu director and writer. He was born in Cuttack, Odisha, India. He studied at Ravenshaw University. Parija started his career as an assistant director to S.S. Rajamouli, a famous director in Telugu cinema. He learned the craft of filmmaking from him and worked on several blockbuster films, including Magadheera (2009), Eega (2012), and Baahubali: The Beginning (2015). Himanshu debuted as a director in 2009 with the Odia film Suna Chadhei Mo Rupa Chadhei, a remake of the Telugu movie Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana Click to look into! >> Read More... (2005).

The movie gained numerous awards, including the Odisha State Film Award for Best Director. He directed many other Odia films, recognized for their romantic and family-orientated topics, catchy songs, and comedy elements.
