Venkatesh Marturu

Venkatesh Maruturu is an Indian actor who works prominently in the Telugu film and entertainment industry. He is renowned as a martial artist and stunt coordinator. Venkatesh was born on March 5, 1995 in Telangana, Hyderabad. His father’s name is Eshwara Rao, and his mother’s name is Padma. His siblings are Priyanka and Bharath. He is famously nicknamed Venky. He did his collegiate education from Narsimha Reddy Engineering College, in Secunderabad, Hyderabad. Maruturu holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

He is a martial artist. He holds a back belt in Karate from Thammando Karate Martial Arts Academy, Hyderabad. Here, his trainer, or sensei, was Abdul Bakhi. He also has a brown belt in kung fu from Tigers Kung Fu Academy, where he trained under sensei Srinivas(Luka). Venkatesh has won several national and international tournaments. Apart from his academic degree, he also learnt Kung Fu and karate, receiving a brown belt from the Tigers Kung Fu Martial Arts Academy, and a black belt from the Thammando Karate Martial Arts Academy. Venkatesh dreamed of becoming an actor since he was a child, and tried to find a path into the film industry. While in college, in addition to his studies, he began working as a junior actor in the Telugu film industry. After many years of struggle, he was finally discovered by Pradeep, son of the late Avs, a Telugu comedian, and began his debut in "Vaidhehi" in (2019). Venkatesh Marturu began his journey in the film industry with his role as a fighter in the movie "Thurum," which was released on 19th December 2014. He worked on various projects, including "Life Anubavinchu Raja" in 2020, and as a junior artist in "Rudramadevi" on October 16, 2015.
