Satyarth Nayak is an Indian Author, Researcher, and Screenplay Writer. He was born on 29th October 1981 and hails from Cuttack in Odisha. His most famous works include his debut novel, The Emperor's Riddles, which was released in 2014 and became a bestselling historical thriller. Nayak holds a Master's Degree in English from St. Stephens College, Delhi. A recipient of the SAARC Heal Award for Heath Reporting 2008, a correspondent to CNN-IBN, and a regular speaker at various literature fests, Nayak has been listed among the top 51 writers to be followed. Nayak's short stories won the British Council Award. They were also published in Sudha Murty's anthology, "Something on the way to Heaven". Sony's epic show, Porus which has been touted as one of India's biggest and most expensive historical series, was also scripted by Satyarth.

Nayak received the Youth Inspiration Award (Literature) in 2008 and Shri Award for Men Achievers (Literature) in 2018.
