Swaraj Barik

Swaraj Barik is an Indian actor who works in the Odia film industry. He was born on 24th January 1998 in Baripada, Odisha. His height is 5 feet 7 inches, and he weighs about 62 kilograms. He studied at MKC High School, Baripada. He has completed B.Sc. in Computer Science at Maharaja Autonomous Purna Chandra College, Baripada, and M.Sc. First Year Computer Science Honours, from North Odisha University, Baripada. His hobbies include visiting the gym, dancing, painting, photography, dubbing, and watching movies.

He started his acting career as a child actor in the Odia Entertainment Industry on 31st December 2002. His first work as a child artist was in an Odia serial named “Sampark.” He started his Ollywood career as a child artist in “Pagal Premi”. Some of his other films as a child actor are “Ama Bhitare Kichhi Achhi” (2010), “Suna Chadhei Mo Rupa Chadhei” (2009), “Akashe Ki Ranga Lagila” (2009), “Neijaare Megha Mote” (2008), “Samaya Hatare Dori” (2007), “Rakate Lekhichi Naa” (2007), “Ama Bhitare Kichhi Ochhi”, “Dhire Dhire Prema Hela”, “Chhati Chiri Dele Tu”, Pahili Raja, Something Something, Mu kan Ete Kharap, Tote Bhala Pauchi Boli, Pagala Korichi Pauji Tora, Deewan Deewani, Tu Thile Mo Dora Kahaku, ACP Sagarika, Prem Weds Priya, and Tora Mora Jodi Sundara. Tu Mo Love Story (2017) was his first movie for which he received a lot of praise and became the ultimate crush of many girls in Odisha. His other movies as a lead actor are “Laila O Laila” (2017), Love Express (2018), This Is Maya Re Baya (2019), and Dil Mor Manena (2020). His upcoming film will be Dil Ro Password.

He has been awarded the Odisha State Film Award for his movie” Samaya Hatere Dori” as the Best child artist. For his first debut film as a lead actor, Swaraj Barik received awards like Best Debutant Artist (Odia Film Fare Awards 2017), Best Debutant Chalachitra Jagat (Cine award 2018), and Star of tomorrow (9th Tarang Cine Award 2018). He has received the Best Actor award (Ollywood Film Award) for his film Love Express. For his film Tum o Love story 2, he was also awarded the Best Hero (critics Ollywood Screen Awards).
