Indian actress and classical Odissi dancer Bhoomika Dash are well-known for her roles in Odia cinema industry. She debuted as a young artist in the Odia film Rumku Jhumana and then starred as the lead in Tu Mo Love Story. On January 22, 2003, Bhoomika was born in Bhubaneswar, Odisha to Trupti and Prasanna Kumar Dash. She completed her education at D.A.V. Public School, Unit-8, Bhubaneswar, and is enrolled in the Institute of Dental Sciences, Bhubaneswar, to pursue her B.D.S. In 2014, Bhoomika Dash made her acting debut in the movie Rumku Jhumana, co-starring Harihar Mohapatra, for which she was honoured with an Odisha State Film Award for Best Child Artist. With the movie Tu Mo Love Story, Dash made her feature film debut in Ollywood.
She played Barsha Priyadarshini’s child part in the 2015 film Gapa Hele Bi Sata. She pursued her education while keeping up her work in Ollywood. After that, she co-starred with Babushan as the lead heroine in the movie Hero No.1. She starred as Paro in the 2019 film “Nayakara Naa Devdash,” a contemporary adaptation of the cult classic of the same name. Bhoomika has won many awards like The Best Actress in Utkarsha Awards in 2021, then Best Newcomer in Chalachitra Jagat in 2018, Star of Tomorrow award in 9th Tarang Cine Awards in 2018, Best Child Artist in 5th Tarang Cine Awards and Odisha State Film Award.
