Kuna Tripathy

Kuna Tripathy, also known as Satyabrata Tripathy, is an Indian actor born on 22 January 1968. He majorly appears in Odia films and television shows. He debuted in 1987 in the Hindi movie “Sopan” and made his television debut in 1995 in an Odia language serial named 'Kahuthile Saribani'. He is also known for being a radio jockey, video jockey, and television presenter. He has also worked with several radio stations like All India Radio (AIR) and Vividh Bharati. He has worked in various fields such as scripts, lyrics, dialogue, and direction throughout his career.

He became popular with the satirical show “News fuse” which is also in the Odia language. He started his career at the very young age of 6 with a stage drama and went on to appear in a stage drama called “Satarka Sanghamitra” in 1995 which won the award “Best Play in Indian drama”. He has also appeared in Bengali films. He is a member of the governing party Biju Janata Dal since 2016. His educational background is a degree in masters in Arts from Ravenshaw University. He has two daughters, Shreya Tripathy and Shloka Tripathy with his wife, Sangeeta Tripathy. He also has good knowledge of Sanskrit. He has flown to various countries such as the USA and Australia to promote the culture of Odisha and Jagannath.
