Elina Samantray, also known as Ray Elina Samantray, is a famous actress who mainly works in Odia films. She was born in Keonjhar, Odisha and has been in the film industry since 2015, predominantly working as an actor and model. She is a former student of Ravenshaw University in Cuttack, Odisha in English, Hons. Samantray made her film debut in the film Ishq Tu Hi Tu and is also the winner of the first season of the Odia reality show, Kie Heba Mo Heroine which aired on Tarang TV, after which she came to the Ollywood industry.
Her next two releases after Ishq Tu Hi Tu were Kehi Nuhe Kahara and Jaga Hatare Pagha. In 2016, she starred in Love Station alongside Babushan. In October 2018, she did a comic role in the film Kie Heba Mo Stri where she was a girl with frequent stomach problems which led to uncontrollable flatulence and diarrhoea.
