Actor Gyanendra Kumar Pallai has gained a foothold in the film industry, mostly playing the antagonist. He has appeared in 13 mega serials and five films. Gyanendra Kumar Pallai has also done some huge plays like Kalijuge Jagannath, Saburi Pathe Sai, Sai Ram, Shradha Saburi and Utkalmani Gopabandhu. He also works as a professor in an engineering college. Gyanendra Kumar Pallai started acting in 2015. After doing M. Tech from Utkal University, he got a job in Sachdeva New PT College in 1992. After a long period there, he joined NM Institute of Engineering and Technology in 2004.

Between 2004-2015, he was completely occupied in teaching and spent almost 13 hours a day there. When his wife went to pursue Ph. D from NIT Rourkela, then Gyanendra started to focus on his passion of acting. Gyanendra Kumar Pallai faced many difficulties while pursuing his passion.
