. Kotekar was a student at Madhavrao Bhagwa High School. He did his graduation from Maharshi Dayanand College of Arts, Science, and Commerce in Mumbai. He actively participated in the theatre productions in his school and college life. He was a part of the Akankika Mahotsav in 2019 and Gandharva Kalamancha in 2022. In the 2022 Kalamanch, he and his brother both participated. He also does stand-ups. He has worked in the television series
