Milind Bokil is a Marathi Story Writer and sociologist. He participated in the Sampporna Kranti Movement, which was led by Jayprakash Narayan in the 1970s. Since then, he has been connected with many civil society organizations. He writes about human emotions and explores social relationships in his books. He writes non-fiction and fiction stories, and has written more than a dozen books. He has written short stories, travelogues, sociological studies, and novels. Ekam, Samudraparche Samaj, Ran Durga, Zen Garden, and Samudra are the names of his few books. He has won the Best Literature Award, from the Maharashtra Foundation. There is a Marathi movie based on his novel Shala that has received many awards.
