Abhishek Kale is a singer of Indian origin. He belongs to the state of Maharashtra. He began his training in Indian Classical Music at the age of five under his mother Smt. Swati Kale, a disciple of Padmavibhushan Vidushi Gangubai Hangal Ji. He also trained with renowned Kirana Gharana Vocalist Pandit Jayteerth Mevundi for eight years and currently studies under Pandit Sharad Bapat from Sangli. Abhishek is a 'B' graded artist at All India Radio (AIR). He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Mumbai University. In his musical career, Abhishek has performed with santoor player Pt. He was honored by the Gangubai Hangal Foundation in Hubli. He essayed a key role in the award-winning film The Disciple based on the theme of Indian Classical Music. He also composed India's first Sanskrit Jingles album for kids. Abhishek has received several awards and has performed at various music festivals and events including Sawai Gandharv Sangeet Mahotsav, Meditation Centre in Singapore, and Sahela Re. He was the first musician to perform in Ayodhya after the Supreme Court's decision.
