Aakash Pendharkar is a renowned Marathi director, editor, and producer from Thane, Maharashtra. He completed his schooling at RV Nerukar Highschool in 2000 and joined KV Pendharkar College for a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2001. Later, in 2002 he went to MAAC Institute (Maya Academy of Advance Cinematics) to pursue a Bachelor of 3D animation and editing. Aakash Pendharkar started his career as a Chief Editor at Digitouch, Jigish Creations, in 2004. After working there for six years, he joined Kothare and Kothare Vision as a creative head in 2010.
Aakash worked as a creative and content head at different studios but gained fame after joining Zee Studios in 2013 as Creative Producer. In August 2017, Aakash joined Swaroop Studios, Thane, Maharashtra, as Producer and Creative Producer for the Marathi films and Tv series. He is known for producing superhit Marathi shows like KBC, KBC Marathi, Divided, High-tension, ATM, etc. The latest project by Aakash as a director is a Marathi romance-thriller film, Circuitt, released on 7 April 2023.
