Preeti Mallapurkar is an Entrepreneur turned actor, writer, and filmmaker born on 16th August in Mumbai. She did her schooling in Mumbai and completed graduation in Commerce from Mumbai University. She has acted in short films, Marathi feature films, and advertisements. She is also the brand ambassador of Mined Jewels, a jewelry brand from California. She debuted as an actor in the movie, Ishwari(2021), followed by Matutrava in the same year.
Preeti is well known for writing on social issues and is a member of the Screen Writers Association. She has been working as a teacher at Door Step School for underprivileged children as a part of her social service. Through her blog, A Woman’s Heart, she expresses her thoughts on issues related to women & children. Her first directional short was nominated for the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke in 2019. She received the Tejasvani Award as the most versatile entrepreneur(2021).
