Saurabh Naik is a well-known film editor from Marathi Film Industry. He was born on 15 September 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has done schooling at Vikas High School, Maharashtra, and higher secondary school at D E Society Kirti M Doongursee College of Arts Science and Commerce. He completed his graduation in Commerce from Vikas College, University of Mumbai. Saurabh started working as an editor in 2017. He worked as an editor in Kolahal (Short film), In Search of Rituparno( Documentary film), Parikrama (Short film), Maruti Chitampalli (feature length Documentary film), and Sumitra Bhave Ek Samantar Prawas (feature-length Documentary film) VFX, Sound and Graphics.
He made many videos for Central Railway Mumbai Mandal, Shreerang Charitable Trust, and Konkan Kanya Band. He also worked as an assistant art director in the Marathi film Aamhi Doghi Aamhi Doghi is a drama serial on the Zee Yuva chan >> Read More... , Shikari, and the 9XM song Panga Na Le. He has written the Hindi film Hill View Villa. Saurabh was the Individual editor, of Dialogue, Sound Mixing, Foley, and VFX for the short films Carry On, Tarang, Pani Rani, Nishesh, and Laal.
He has worked for the TATA Poaer Stree Shakti Campaign. His various short films have won over 150 awards for his work. In 2019, his film Carry On won the National Science Short Film Festival Award. Some of the videos won the Olive Rrown Award. He received the Best Editor Award 2018 from the Mrunaltai Gore State Film Festival and the Best Dialogue Award from the 3rd International Short Film Festival 2018 in Pune.
