Dr Anand Nadkarni

Dr. Anand Madhusudan Nadkarni received a Ph.D. in Psychiatry from the University of Mumbai after earning a medical degree in Mumbai. He has been active in psychiatric practice for 30 years. Dr. Anand is focused on spreading awareness of mental health. He meets an average of 40 clients per day for every 10 hours. He runs training programs for top executives across the country.

He takes care of young artists, athletes, players, and singers to optimize their performance. He talks to parents and teachers on various topics. He works for the National Planning Commission as an advisor and is also an independent director on the board of directors of listed companies.

Dr. Nadkarni is a pioneer in the Institute for Psychological Health (IPH), a unique NGO that brings together more than 70 mental health professionals under one roof. In addition to coaching individuals, they run many self-help groups working on ongoing educational projects and services ranging from full-fledged audiovisual units to the Mitra Telephone Helpline. Under the competent guidance of the doctor, unique community projects such as Jidnyasa (Young Awareness) and VEDH (Vocational Training-Directorate Harmony) are organized in several cities in Maharashtra. Parents and students attend these seminars in a large number.

Dr. Nadkarni is also the founding trustee of the Muktangan Deaddiction Center in Pune. It is a comprehensive rehabilitation facility with more than 200 prisoners and 70 + dedicated employees. Dr. Nadkarni has written 17 award-winning books in Marathi, many in double-digit editions. His works have been translated into English and adopted in Braille, RIL, Siemens, Cipla, Indoco, etc. Dr. Nadkarni and his team also serve as corporate mentors for aspiring mid-sized entrepreneurs in various disciplines. He is a tireless doctor. Nadkarni has received numerous prestigious awards for his contributions to mental health, literature, and theatre.
