Digambar Virkar is a freelance screenplay writer, editor, and director working in the Marathi film industry. He completed his academic education at Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2009. Digambar enrolled in the TRON Animation Institute in 2022 to learn animation, video graphics, visual effects, and VFX core. He earned an Incredible Video Creator certificate from the Noble Work Foundation. Digambar’s skills also include DaVinci Resolve, Foundry Nuke, and Adobe Photoshop. Digambar’s first directorial venture is the 2018 Marathi film, Picchar. This movie was shot on an iPhone, and Digambar was the director, scriptwriter, editor, and cinematographer for the entire project. This movie was released on the MX Player OTT platform.
