Chandrakant Pawar is an Indian director and screenplay writer. He is employed as a film director and producer at Sonika International Films. He earned a Masters of Arts in Communication and media studies from Mumbai University, India. In 2016, he produced the film Mohar. It is a story of a married man who worked at a factory but had to change his job due to some difficulties. He gets involved in an extramarital affair with his friend and later discovers that he has AIDS. He wrote and directed the 2017 film Vitthala Shappath.
The only son of his parents, Krishna, who disobeys his parents' orders and likes to live life on his terms, soon realizes his wrongdoing and tries to help his father accomplish his motive. In his pursuit, he helps a girl, Naina, and the two falls in love with each other. Things went well for Krishna, until in a twist of fate, he finds himself torn between choosing his love for Naina and fulfilling his father's motive. In 2024, he wrote and directed the film Apsara. Unlike a typical love story, it features twist and turn in the end, covering various emotions such as laughter, tears, and love.
