Anil Raut is an Indian director and scriptwriter who majorly works in the Marathi film industry. In 2019, he was featured in the film Up Wali Love Story, then in 2024 in a documentary named Kamali. He was the writer of the Marathi movie Kalli Matti, directed by Hemantkumar Mahale in 2021 and in 2020 for Ajit Dave’s film Masuta. In 2021, he received the award for Best Script Writer Indian Feature Film at the Golden Sparrow International Film Festival and in the same year he was also nominated for Best Writing at the Top Indie Film Awards for the movie Kalli Matti.
