Shekhawat Himmat is a freelance photographer and cinematographer. Shekhawat was born and brought up in Ajmer, Rajasthan. He received his primary education from Vaparik School in Nasirabad, Ajmer. Since 2007, his prime focus has been towards his firm Shekhawat Filmography. In the beginning of his career, Shekhawat assisted several notable photographers of the industry like Tejal Patni, Prasad Nike, and Raj Mistry. After gaining abundant experience in the industry from the best, he finally focused on his individual journey as a photographer. Since 2007, he has been working relentlessly in his firm. With his sheer hard work, Shekhawat has acquired clients from all across the country and from other countries as well.

Some of his notable clients include- Stayfree, Johnson and Johnson, HDFC Bank, Rajnigandha Pan Masala, Living Foodz Essel Group, Sadayush Ayurvedic Cure and Care, GAJA Shree Ganesh Jewellery House, Kansai Nerolac Paints, etc. Shekhawat's work has received immense appreciation over the years and he has been bestowed upon with numerous awards. In 2018, he received a cash prize of $20,000 and D&AD Impact Award for Stayfree's project Free Period. Later, he received the Gold Elephant at the 2019 Kyoorius Awards. In 2021, he received the Grand Prix and Creative strategy gold for his Project Free Period.
